Francesca Amiker has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Alicia Brown, accusing her of making false statements on social media about an alleged relationship with Big Tigger and Brown’s reported injuries. The new civil case pushes the dispute beyond the domestic allegations that have shadowed Brown and Big Tigger for months.
The filing lands as Brown and Big Tigger remain publicly linked to a broader set of legal matters that began with a May 9 domestic dispute investigation in Sandy Springs. Brown, 37, alleged that Darian Morgan pushed her into an office door during an argument over a cellphone, leaving her with a facial injury that required medical treatment, while police said the couple’s teenage son was inside the home and heard the altercation.
Those allegations have not been proven in court. Sandy Springs police arrested Morgan on three charges, including aggravated battery, battery and third-degree cruelty to children, and he was later booked into the Fulton County Jail before being released on bond. Morgan denied the accusations, said he has confidence in the legal process and has continued to contest Brown’s account.
A Fulton County judge then granted Brown a temporary protective order after Morgan’s arrest, requiring him to stay away from Brown, their home and their children while the case moves forward. Brown also was granted temporary custody of the children and exclusive use of the family residence, a sign that the court treated the allegations as serious enough to alter day-to-day life while the matter remains unresolved.
Amiker, a former 11Alive anchor and Morgan’s V-103 co-host, says Brown crossed a line by suggesting on social media that she was involved in an inappropriate relationship with Morgan and connected to Brown’s injuries. Amiker denies that claim. The lawsuit does not merge the cases into one; it creates a second front, with a separate court now being asked to weigh what was said publicly and whether it amounted to defamation.
That split matters because the public record already contains competing versions of the May incident, including a Ring camera video that was reviewed as part of the investigation and another video that later surfaced online showing Morgan and Brown in a separate physical struggle over a cellphone. The timing and circumstances of that second video have not been publicly confirmed, leaving the court with allegations, denials and a trail of disputed clips rather than a clean account.
