Chrisean Rock says her Blueface portrait tattoo is still not fully gone, but she already knows what will take its place. On a livestream, she said that once the image is removed enough, she plans to replace it with a fresh portrait of her son, Chrisean Jesus Jr.
The update is drawing attention now because it turns a long-running face tattoo into a visible sign of where Rock says her life is headed next. She said the tattoo can be distracting during performances, adding that she usually leaves it alone unless she is performing at church. She also said she cannot wait until it is officially gone.
Rock made the change sound both personal and physical. “It will be all gone,” she said, before adding, “The nightmare will be over and off my face. When it gets removed enough I’m going to put my son’s face on this side,” a shift that would trade one portrait for another on the same part of her face.
The livestream came after a previous removal video that showed Rock in obvious discomfort as the laser began breaking down the tattoo. She was seen fighting through the pain and shedding tears while encouraging the professionals to “keep going,” and saying she needed to “get it off.” That earlier footage, shared at the end of 2025, showed just how difficult the process has been even as she keeps moving forward with it.
What Rock has not given yet is the part readers are still waiting for: how many more sessions she will need before the tattoo is cleared enough for the new portrait. For now, she says she wants Blueface off her face and her son in its place, and that is the version of the future she is sticking with.
