In the United Kingdom, "Choosin' Texas" climbed to No. 2 on the Official Singles Downloads chart, rose to No. 12 on the Official Streaming chart and held at its No. 9 peak on the main Official Singles chart. For Langley, that No. 9 result remains her first top 10 hit on the main chart, even as the song has spent half a year on the 100-space ranking and 31 weeks on the downloads list.
The numbers show a split picture that makes the song more interesting, not less. In America, it is a chart leader again. In the United Kingdom, it is still breaking through more gradually, even after its strongest week yet on the main Official Singles chart. That gap matters because country music usually travels more slowly there, and Langley is doing it with a song that is already treated as a career-defining tune.
There is still one small wrinkle in the climb. "Choosin' Texas" could not regain the top spot on the Official Singles Downloads chart this time because "Movin’ to the Sun" — the collaboration between Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté — held it off. The track remains Langley’s only song to land on the Official Streaming chart, which is a reminder that its momentum is being built unevenly across formats rather than in one clean sweep.
Even so, the larger picture is hard to miss. "Choosin' Texas" has now reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 12 times in nonconsecutive runs, a mark few songs ever touch, and it is still pushing toward higher ground in the United Kingdom. The next question is whether its streaming gains can carry it into the top 10 there, turning a strong crossover into a bigger one.
