Parmida and Corbin were dumped from Love Island USA after the Islanders chose to save Kayda and Zach in the latest Love Island USA vote, ending their run in Season 8, Episode 29. The decision left only six couples in the villa and pushed the competition another step closer to the season finale.
The result mattered because viewers had already marked Parmida and Corbin, along with Kayda and Zach, as the least compatible couples in the most recent public vote. With Kenzie and Dylan safe after winning the karaoke competition, the Islanders were then asked to choose which couple should stay, and four of the five safe couples backed Kayda and Zach.
Corbin, who entered Love Island USA as a bombshell in Episode 4, took the loss hard. He cried in the villa after the vote, a reaction that landed even harder because viewers had already nicknamed him CorbinGPT for his deep voice and stoic demeanor. Parmida had also built a following after her Casa Amor bombshell entrance in Episode 17, when fans gave her the nickname “the Persian cat.”
That did not stop the conversation from turning sideways online. Bryce said, “We broke the robot!” and then added, “Wait, they put tears in that? I didn't know AI could cry!” while X users seized on the moment and wondered whether the cast had somehow been following online chatter, even as the show has long claimed the Islanders do not have access to it.
The one thing the vote did make clear is that the room has narrowed fast. With only six couples left, every public vote now carries a bigger threat, and the next dumping will tell viewers whether Kayda and Zach can keep their place after surviving this one.
