Starbucks is set to debut five orange-vanilla summer drinks on July 28, adding a limited-time lineup that leans into citrus and cream just as the season gets going. The launch includes an Orange Cream Cold Brew, Iced Orange Cream Latte, Iced Orange Cream Matcha, Iced Orange Cream Chai and an Orange Cream Frappuccino.
Drew Pittock, who covers national trending news for, is among the people writing about the rollout because it gives customers a fixed date and a clear menu change to watch for now. The company is also pairing the drink drop with a limited-edition collaboration from Starbucks and Dandy Worldwide, the Southern California-based outerwear brand, and that merchandise will appear on the same day in select United States and Canada Starbucks locations.
The five drinks build on a nostalgic orange and vanilla flavor profile, with each one taking a different route through coffee, tea or blended ice. Starbucks says the Orange Cream Cold Brew features a bright and creamy citrus layer, the latte is made with Blonde Espresso, milk, ice and orange-vanilla flavors, the matcha adds creamy citrus notes, the chai brings a bright orange twist to its spiced base and the Frappuccino layers sweet orange and vanilla with milk, ice and whipped cream before adding another layer on top.
The merchandise drop is smaller than the drinks rollout, but it gives the company another seasonal item to push at the same time it is reviving older attention-grabbers. Starbucks has already said it plans to bring back its viral Unicorn Frappuccino and release Pink Bearista Glass Cold Cups, a reminder that the company is trying to keep several waves of summer buzz moving at once rather than betting everything on one launch.
That overlap is the part worth watching. Starbucks has not said how long the five orange cream drinks will remain available, and it has also not laid out how widely the Dandy Worldwide collection will be distributed beyond select locations in the United States and Canada. For now, the only date that is locked in is July 28, when customers will find out whether the new flavors and the limited-edition goods land as a quick summer hit or disappear before the month is out.
