The ceremony drew around 150 guests, including close relatives, friends and family members who had travelled from overseas. Those present said the couple appeared visibly happy and emotional, while Aamir’s children — Junaid, Ira and Azad — were there, along with Gauri’s son. For Spratt, who works in the wellness and beauty space and has largely stayed away from the public eye, the registration marked a rare moment in view of a wider circle.
The marriage ends a long personal chapter for Khan, who had earlier been married to Reena Dutta and later to Kiran Rao. He and Rao separated in 2021 and continue to co-parent Azad. Khan said he and Spratt had known each other for nearly 25 years before beginning to date just over two years ago, a detail that helps explain why the union drew so much attention when it became official.
