The update is drawing attention now because Bailey has spent years splitting her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles while her daughter was on the West Coast. In a recent conversation with Bravo Insider, Bailey said the arrangement had worn her out, especially the weekly flying back and forth. Robinson’s move means Bailey can see her more easily and does not have to keep organizing her life around the Atlanta and Los Angeles commute.
Bailey said the closer distance has brought her a little more peace, even if she has not fully loosened her grip. “I still have a tracker on her,” she said, adding that Robinson being near Lake Bailey gives her comfort. The comment landed with the kind of mix of pride and parental overreach that Bailey has leaned into before, especially as Robinson has grown from the child who first appeared with her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta at 8 years old into a 25-year-old adult with a life of her own.
That family bond has stayed visible in public. Bailey said in March that raising Robinson has been one of her greatest blessings, and she wrote then that she was proud of her daughter for becoming her own powerful, confident woman. She later sent Leon a birthday message in 2026 that noted their daughter is blessed to have two Pisces as her parents, a reminder that the former couple, though long separated romantically, remain close enough to share the same family updates.
What Bailey did not say is why Robinson came back after years in LA. For now, the clearest answer is practical rather than dramatic: the move cuts the travel, shortens the distance between mother and daughter, and gives Bailey the chance to be home more often. For a family that has lived much of its life on camera, that may be the most meaningful update of all.
