Their last public appearance had come more than six months earlier, when they accepted the American Accessory Designer of the Year for The Row, and that distance has long been part of how they work and live.
In the wedding images, Mary-Kate and Ashley were also seen speaking with Courtney Taylor Olsen and Jake Olsen, while Elizabeth Olsen was present as well.
