Walt Disney World has set its 2026 holiday season for November 13 through January 6, 2027, turning the resort into a long stretch of Christmas décor, special entertainment, themed food and beverage items, festive costumes, holiday merchandise and new deals and discounts. The announcement gives visitors a fixed window for planning a winter trip, and it also lays out where the biggest seasonal draws will land.
That matters now because holiday travel plans are already being made around the season’s most visible events, from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to Disney Jollywood Nights. Disney Parks Blog is using the early preview to show that the holiday calendar will reach across Walt Disney World, with offerings that touch Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs rather than staying in one corner of the resort.
One of the clearest signs of how much is being packed into the season is Frozen Holiday Surprise!, where Olaf, Anna, Kristoff, Elsa and more than 100 snowgie siblings add garlands, ornaments, wreaths and other decorations to Cinderella Castle. Jingle Cruise is also returning in 2026, while holiday photo spots will be available along Main Street, U.S.A. and at Cinderella Castle, TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion.
There is, though, a scheduling wrinkle inside the lineup. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will run twice each night when it is operating, but it will not be performed on evenings when Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On those nights, guests can watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade instead, which makes the parade the fallback for anyone choosing the party dates over the nighttime show.
