Zendaya and Tom Holland stepped out together in Madrid for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photo-call, marking their first public appearance as husband and wife. It was also their first red carpet outing together since October 2024, a rare moment for a couple that kept the wedding itself private.
The appearance arrived just as interest in Zendaya’s ring, the wedding rumors and the film tour came back into focus. She had already worn a diamond ring on her left hand at the 2025 Golden Globes, and by March the marriage had been quietly confirmed, though the exact wedding date, location and other details were still undisclosed.
That confirmation did not come all at once. Law Roach said at the Actor Awards on March 1 that the wedding had already happened, and Tom Holland later backed that up in an interview with Esquire U.K., where he brushed off viral AI-generated wedding images from early March by saying his family did not need them because “they were all there.” He still would not go any further, and the couple has kept the ceremony out of public view.
Madrid also fit the pattern that has made Zendaya’s press-tour dressing such a draw. On the Rome premiere stop for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, she wore a 1990s Versace spiderweb dress from the archives with Tiffany jewelry, while Holland chose a brown suit with a matching tie. At a Rome photocall, she switched to a sparkly archival Versace coord, and in Germany she wore spiderweb earrings by Lydia Courteille while Holland wore a tie with a spider on it. She later changed the mood again with a Coach look that gave a polished, preppy spin to a sports jersey.
The private wedding and the public rollout sit uneasily beside each other, and that is what keeps the story moving. The couple are now being seen as newlyweds while the basic facts of the marriage remain hidden, even as the promotion tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day turns their relationship into part of the film’s public face. The next fixed date is July 31, when the movie is scheduled for release.
