Power Plate Meals LLC is recalling about 5,795 pounds of frozen meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes after soy was left off the label. The products were shipped to distributors in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, and consumers who bought them were told not to eat them.
The recall matters now because the meals may still be sitting in freezers, waiting to be found before anyone serves them. The product carries establishment number 217SEND inside the USDA mark of inspection, and it was made between June 25, 2025, and June 10, 2026.
A state inspector alerted FSIS after the final label failed to list soy in the ingredients. Soy is a known allergen, and the misbranding created the risk that a shopper with an allergy could buy a meal with no warning on the package. Even so, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions so far.
The recall covers frozen product, which makes the number harder to picture in household terms. At roughly 5,795 pounds, it could amount to a sizeable number of individual meals, but the exact count has not been disclosed. That leaves the practical question for buyers simple: if the package matches the recalled product, it should not be eaten.
FSIS said some product may still be in consumers' freezers and said shoppers should throw it away or return it to the place of purchase. The agency also said it routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to make sure recalling firms notify customers and the product is no longer available to consumers.
