Chase was best known for voicing Lilo in Disney's 2002 animated hit Lilo & Stitch and for playing Samara Morgan in The Ring, but John Ryan Jr. said she had been out of contact with friends and industry colleagues after 2015, long before news of her death surfaced.
Ryan said he became worried when she failed to show up for a meeting with Rob Reiner.
