Jen Affleck is expecting baby No. 4 with Zac Affleck, and she made the news public on Thursday, June 18, with a carousel of photos on Instagram showing her baby bump. She kept the message short and direct: “Chapter Four. 🤍”
The announcement gives Jen, 27, and Zac, 29, a fourth child together and comes as fans were already watching their relationship closely. The couple, who met on Mutual in 2018 and married in 2019, are already parents to Nora, 4, Lucas, 2, and Penny, 11 months.
That is why the post landed with extra force. Two months earlier, viewers had speculated about marital trouble after Jen appeared in a tearful TikTok video without her wedding ring while talking about her “next chapter.” In April, she said, “In the last two to three years, so much has happened,” and described a stretch marked by “two babies,” a reality TV show, Dancing With the Stars, moving, identity, faith and a life crisis.
Jen also said she and Zac had already been through a lot before this latest turn. In May 2025, she said the couple had gone through “lots of therapy,” adding that they would not have made it through season 2 without it. She said filming was hard for Zac and that he was trying to push through that discomfort on camera.
The pregnancy news does not answer everything, including when the baby is due. But it does settle the immediate question around the family’s next step: Jen and Zac Affleck are expanding their household again, and the public story now shifts from whether they were drifting apart to how they will manage four children while keeping the marriage steady.
