The video showed Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Sterling and Golden Raye celebrating the extension, and it gave the family’s youngest child a small but revealing role in a bigger day for the franchise. He did not hesitate when he saw Swift’s image, which is why the clip drew attention so quickly.
Patrick Mahomes has made clear that Swift is no stranger around his family. In February 2025, ahead of Super Bowl LIX, he said he had built a “great” friendship with her since she began dating Travis Kelce, and that Brittany Mahomes and Swift had built a friendship too.
