Denny’s Saskatchewan brought back its Riders Slam campaign on June 10, renewing a partnership with the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation for a fourth straight year and tying a breakfast promotion to youth literacy fundraising across the province.
The timing matters because the next Riders Slam Day is Friday, June 12, giving fans another chance to buy the $9.99 breakfast plate before a Roughriders home game. Denny’s said $5 from each Riders Slam purchased with a regular-priced beverage will go directly to the Roughrider Foundation, and a significant portion of the money supports the Rider Reading Program.
Amanda Delparte said the campaign gives fans a way to give back while helping support youth literacy across Saskatchewan through Rider Reading. She called the promotion a fun and impactful way to help strengthen communities, while Denny’s framed the effort as part of a broader commitment that has already raised $45,000 for the foundation since 2023 with support from Northland Properties.
The offer is limited, though, and that is where the fundraiser’s community pitch meets its real-world footprint. Riders Slam is available only at four Saskatchewan Denny’s locations — Circle Drive, Idylwyld Drive and Lorne Avenue in Saskatoon, along with Regina — and only on the day before each 2026 Roughriders home game. This year’s dates are May 22, June 12 and 25, July 11 and 22, August 6 and 28, September 5, and October 1, 16 and 23.
Robert Stroeder said supporting the communities Denny’s serves has always been central to the company’s work, and the return of Riders Slam gives that promise a concrete form. For fans who want to take part, the next test is simple: show up by June 12, order the breakfast, and decide whether the campaign’s small, local reach can keep producing a larger provincial impact.
