Two international soda flavors have disappeared from Club Cool at Epcot, leaving guests at disney-world-resort" rel="tag">Walt Disney World Resort without Royal Wattamelon from the Philippines and Country Club Merengue from the Dominican Republic on the self-serve fountains. On June 5, @DisneyScoopGuy posted a photo showing the change, including a dispenser for Royal Wattamelon that told visitors to “please try another flavor.”
The missing drinks matter because Club Cool is one of Epcot’s free tasting stops, where visitors can sample Coca-Cola beverages from around the world without paying extra. In the photo shared by @DisneyScoopGuy, Country Club Merengue was gone from the machine as well, replaced by Beverly from Italy, and the post said the flavors from the Dominican Republic and the Philippines had been removed from all the soda machines at Club Cool.
The change landed in the middle of a year when Disney has already had to adjust parts of the experience. Earlier this year, the company dealt with supply issues involving Cucumber Sprite from Russia and the clear plastic Coca-Cola-branded tasting cups, and in April the Maid Joy Apple Lychee from Korea and Country Club Merengue returned after a short time away. That history makes the new disappearance look familiar, but not settled.
Disney has not publicly said why the two flavors are missing, and it has not confirmed whether the move is temporary or permanent. That silence leaves room for a familiar possibility at Club Cool: flavors often come back after weeks or months, but for now visitors are down two choices, and the machines are showing the gap plainly.
For guests headed to Epcot now, the practical answer is simple. Royal Wattamelon and Country Club Merengue are not on the self-serve lineup, and the next update will determine whether they return the way other Club Cool favorites have before or remain absent for good.
