Sarah Paulson was back on set in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 6, filming scenes for the next season of All’s Fair. The 51-year-old stepped outside in an all-black outfit, paused between takes to take a phone call and stood on stone steps beside a banister topped with a stone lion, seeming to notice the cameras nearby.
The sighting matters because All’s Fair has already been renewed for season 2, and Paulson’s return offers one of the clearest signs yet that work on the Hulu legal drama is moving ahead. The show’s next chapter is drawing attention not only because production is underway, but because one of its biggest names was not in Los Angeles at the same time.
While Paulson was filming, Kim Kardashian was in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, at Circuit de Monaco for the motorsport competition, there to cheer on her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton as he competed for Ferrari at the Monaco Grand Prix. Khloe Kardashian joined her there. The split-screen moment underscores how the series is beginning to move into its next phase even as its cast is scattered across different continents.
Kardashian’s off-screen obligations have already intersected with the show in another way. In March, she announced plans to auction off her entire wardrobe from the first season, saying the proceeds would help women fighting for their safety, their children and their futures get access to free legal aid. That made the wardrobe from the debut run part of the story around the series long before season 2 cameras were rolling.
For now, the clearest answer is that Paulson is already working while the next season takes shape, and Kardashian is not with the production in Los Angeles as filming begins. What remains unresolved is which cast members will be back on set next, and whether the series will keep widening the gap between the story it tells on screen and the lives its stars are leading off it.
