The has unveiled a new logo as the volunteer group marks nine years since it was founded, giving the park charity a fresh look as it moves into its next chapter. The design is already on the group’s redesigned website and will appear on materials at future events.

The new logo uses two stylised trees to form the letter H, with the shapes also suggesting two people standing side by side. said the change was meant to better reflect the group’s evolving identity, while keeping the park at the centre of its work.

“Our original tree logo served us well but the new identity captures what the Friends are all about: protecting, enhancing and promoting the park for everyone in Horsham to enjoy,” Sanderson said. She added that the refreshed branding celebrates the park’s wildlife and community, with imagery including stag beetles, hedgehogs, paw prints and skateboards.

The rebrand comes after a momentous year for Horsham Park itself. The park secured status this year, a protection that means it is safeguarded in perpetuity. Sanderson said the Friends campaigned for many years to achieve it and thanked for securing the park as an open and welcoming green space for generations to come.

That is also what gives the new look its edge. The group kept a tree logo that had served it well, but chose to change branding anyway, signaling that it wants its public face to match the broader role it now claims in the town. The question left open is how widely the new identity will spread beyond the website and the next round of event materials.

For now, the rollout is underway in the places people will see first. The website has already been updated, and future events will carry the refreshed design, tying the anniversary, the Fields in Trust milestone and the new identity together in one public reset for a group rooted in Horsham Park.
