The ’s 2026-W Enhanced Uncirculated American Gold Eagle went on sale May 28 and was marked unavailable in less than two minutes, a rapid sellout for a coin priced at $5,370 and limited to 7,500 pieces. That rush is why buyers are searching for the Us Mint release now. On the coin itself, the obverse shows ’ Liberty, the design first used on $20 gold coins in 1907 and later carried onto American Gold Eagles in 1986. The reverse features ’ close-up eagle profile, introduced for the series in 2021 and sculpted by . For collectors, the immediate takeaway is simple: demand outpaced supply almost as soon as the coin appeared, and the next chance to buy one depends on whether the Mint decides to release more.
