Mlb All Star Voting for the 2026 All-Star Game in Philadelphia opened Wednesday, starting the first phase of the process that will decide the starters for next summer’s showcase. Fans now have until noon EDT on June 25 to weigh in before finalists are announced that evening.
The Atlanta Braves entered the ballot with nine players, one at each position, giving supporters a full team’s worth of names to track. The ballot also includes a write-in option for anyone not officially listed, though each write-in candidate can receive only one vote at one position per ballot.
The timing matters because this is the first real checkpoint in the selection calendar. The top two players at their positions will advance to Phase Two, while pitchers are chosen separately through a Players ballot and the Commissioner's Office, along with reserves. Outfield voting works differently, too: six finalists will move on because three outfield starters will be picked.
One of the more notable names on the board is Ha-Seong Kim, who was listed at shortstop even though he has just returned after missing most of the season with an injury. Dubón is also on the ballot because of his ability to play multiple spots, a reminder that the voting format does not always follow a player’s usual defensive home.
Phase Two starts Monday, June 29 and runs until noon EDT on July 2, setting up the final fan vote before the full American League and National League rosters are announced at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Fox on July 4. Until then, the question for Braves fans is not whether they have names on the ballot — it is which of the nine get enough support to keep moving.
