Euromillions rolled over to 129 million euros for its next draw on May 29 after the May 26 drawing ended without a top-tier winner in Spain. The winning combination was 06, 23, 25, 35 and 37, with stars 06 and 12.
The draw, shared across nine European countries, carried an international jackpot of 115 million euros and still left Spanish ticket holders without the main prize. One resident of Valladolid did not leave empty-handed, though: the El Millón code CJL89675 was worth 1 million euros.
That split result is why players are already looking ahead to the next Euromillions draw. A jackpot of 129 million euros is large enough to keep the game in the spotlight in Spain, where each basic bet costs 2.50 euros and players pick five numbers from 1 to 50 plus two stars from 1 to 12.
There is also a practical edge to the prize structure. Winnings up to 40,000 euros are tax-exempt, while amounts above that level are taxed at 20%, and larger prizes from 2,000 euros must be claimed at authorized banks such as BBVA and CaixaBank. Tickets sold in Spain automatically enter El Millón, which is why the Valladolid winner can celebrate separately from the main rollover.
The draw is traditionally broadcast live from Paris at 21:00 local time, and the next one on May 29 now carries the weight of a bigger pool and the same simple question that keeps returning: whether Spain finally lands the full combination after missing out this time.
