State authorities issued an AMBER Alert at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday for 3-year-old Tyler Hall, turning a local missing-child search in Clarksville into a statewide plea for help. Tyler was last seen about 11:30 a.m. near Aurelia Lynn Drive.
The alert is the latest step in a search that began Tuesday morning, when Clarksville Police asked the public to help locate the boy. Hall weighs about 40 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a green dinosaur T-shirt, green shorts and gray socks.
That description now sits at the center of the search because officers had not found him when the alert was issued. Police said they were conducting an extensive search of the neighborhood and wooded areas and were reviewing nearby surveillance footage, but the request for help was expanded before that search produced an answer.
Anyone who sees Tyler or knows where he may be should call 911 right away. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation also gave the public 1-800-TBI-FIND, and Clarksville Police listed 931-648-0656 for tips as the hunt continued across the area.
For now, the case hinges on one unanswered question: what happened after Tyler was last seen near Aurelia Lynn Drive. Until someone steps forward with that answer, the search remains urgent and public.
