Paramount+ is loading up June 2026 with a mix that runs from a massive movie dump on June 1 to originals and a live UFC event unlike anything else on the calendar. The streaming service says it will carry a fight from the White House lawn, a booking that turns a summer lineup into a national spectacle.
That is the reason subscribers are looking at Paramount+ now: the service has pushed out a fresh month of programming, and the headliners are easy to spot. The UFC card includes a title unification bout between Ilia Topiura and Justin Gaethje, along with an interim heavyweight title contest between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane, giving the platform a rare live-sports anchor in a month when its schedule is otherwise built around on-demand viewing.
One of the other draws is The Agency, which stars Michael Fassbender as Martian, a CIA agent ordered away from his undercover post after six years. The show already has enough intrigue to keep a spy-drama audience locked in, and a June return gives Paramount+ another premium title to lean on as it tries to keep subscribers moving through the month. The service is also lining up Devotion: Obedience or Betrayal, a documentary about the Gloriavale Christian Community in New Zealand, which was founded in 1969 by a traveling preacher with extremely fundamentalist ideas.
That documentary is the sharpest reminder that not everything in the June slate is built for easy escapism. Women are subservient to men in Gloriavale, people who leave are shunned forever, and reports of abuse and exploitation prompted a government investigation. The contrast matters because the platform is at the same time trying to sell scale and spectacle: a huge first-day movie release, a high-profile spy series and a UFC event staged on the White House lawn, even as the summer season is described as lacking the broadcast TV offerings that carry so much of the rest of the year.
Paramount’s looming acquisition of HBO Max means some of the service listings will eventually be folded together, but June’s schedule is the one that matters today. The big question left is not whether Paramount+ has content, but when in June the White House lawn fight will actually land on the service. For now, the answer is that June 1 brings the movie pile-on, and the UFC card gives the month its strangest and most attention-grabbing live moment.
