A KÉSZ Csoport has launched Épített Történetek, a new platform built around stories tied to Hungarian architecture, and its first vodcast episode is already available. The opening installment puts the Puskás Aréna at the center, using the stadium and the BL-döntő as the starting point for the series.
That choice matters now because the Puskás Aréna is still carrying the weight of major public moments. Bombera Krisztina opened the episode by saying the stadium is not a small building and that for many people it means a defining football or music experience. The first release is also available on the Épített Történetek website and on the KÉSZ Csoport YouTube channel, giving the project an immediate public reach.
The guest list gives the episode more than a promotional feel. Barócsi Róbert and Gundel Takács Gábor appear in the first show, which is meant to frame the arena less as a piece of concrete and steel than as a place loaded with memory. Benedikt Károly said the company believes buildings become truly alive when people can connect to them, and that idea runs through the platform’s broader lineup as well, which also includes stories about the Parliament, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Cifrapalota, the Szeged Dome and Liszt Ferenc International Airport.
That is where the project takes a sharper turn. The arena was completed in 2019 and is now in its seventh year, yet the series does not linger on the building itself so much as on the experiences attached to it. The stadium is linked to national-scale moments, including Szoboszlai Dominik’s extra-time goal against Iceland and Fiola Attila’s solo strike against France at a Budapest European Championship match, while the BL-döntő is presented as the first football final of its kind to come to Hungary. The result is a launch that treats the Puskás Aréna as a stage for memory, not just a venue on a map.
For now, that is also the key unanswered point. KÉSZ Csoport has opened the door with one episode, but it has not yet set out how often Épített Történetek will return or who the next guests will be. The first chapter is live; the series will have to show whether it can keep turning buildings into stories people actually want to hear.
