Jules Neale traded Perth’s cooler weather for a beach holiday in the northern Maldives, posting a series of sun-soaked images and clips from the island resort JA Manafaru Maldives on Wednesday. “Woke up in paradise,” she wrote over a video of the property.
The post showed Neale in a blue and brown dress with a brown cowgirl hat, then in a short clip frolicking on the beach in a butter yellow outfit. She also shared pictures of herself finding shells and enjoying cocktails, while one fan wrote, “Looks beautiful, just what you need with the year you have had.” Perth influencer Rahnee Bransby added: “What a dreamland.”
The getaway comes several months after Neale split from her partner, Brisbane Lions player Lachie Neale, following allegations that he was involved in an affair with Jules’ friend Tess Crosley. Neale returned home to Perth in January after moving to Queensland more than seven years ago for Lachie Neale’s football career, and is now looking for her forever home in Perth to share with her children Piper and Freddie, who are 4 years old and 1 year old.
Her Maldives break lands as thunderstorms were expected in Perth on Thursday, a sharp contrast to the clear water and white sand she showed her followers online. For Neale, the trip reads like a pause after months of upheaval, and a reminder that she is trying to build the next chapter back where she started.
