All Nassr beat 4-1 on Thursday night to clinch the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League title, with scoring twice as the club held off in a final-day race that went to the wire.

Ronaldo struck two of the four goals, Sadio Mane added a powerful 35th minute header and finished a neat one-two with a shot into the far corner. scored a penalty for Damac, but the result was enough to send top of the table by two points ahead of Al-Hilal, who beat 1-0 on the same night.

The title mattered because Al-Nassr had to win to avoid handing the championship to its Riyadh rival, and it brought the Pro League crown back for the first time since 2019. For Ronaldo, it ended his first major trophy drought in Saudi Arabia after he arrived at Al-Nassr in January 2023 and had only lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup, an unofficial competition, before Thursday.

It was also his first major club title since the Coppa Italia with Juventus in 2021, a gap that had become harder to ignore as the season wound down. Ronaldo finished the campaign with 28 league goals, a figure that underlined how central he remained even as the pressure around silverware kept building.

The timing sharpened the significance. Al-Nassr had lost the AFC Champions League 2 final to Gamba Osaka 1-0 the previous weekend, and another setback would have left the club’s season hanging on a familiar disappointment. Instead, the league title landed on the one night when the margin for error disappeared.

Ronaldo has spoken often about chasing more success late in his career, with the 2026 World Cup in June looming as the next major marker on his calendar. For now, though, Thursday brought the reward that had eluded him in Saudi Arabia and gave All Nassr the trophy their season demanded.
