If you own a Zwilling Enfinigy electric kettle purchased at Costco or HomeGoods, stop using it immediately. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on May 14, 2026, the recall of more than 113,000 Zwilling Enfinigy electric kettles sold across the United States after multiple reports that the handles can detach and spill boiling water.

Why the Zwilling Enfinigy Recall Was Issued

The recall involves ZWILLING J.A. Henckels Aktiengesellschaft Enfinigy Kettle and Enfinigy Kettle Pro electric stainless-steel kettles after reports of the handles loosening and separating. At least one person has suffered a second-degree burn, and more than 160 incidents of loose or detached handles have been reported.

The detaching handle causes hot water to spill out uncontrollably, putting users and nearby individuals at risk of serious scalding injuries.

What to Do Right Now If You Own a Zwilling Enfinigy Kettle

Turn your kettle upside down and check the model number on the bottom. If the model number matches any of the seven recalled numbers, the kettle is recalled and must not be used under any circumstances. The defect may be present even if a handle problem has not yet been experienced, meaning no symptom does not mean no risk.
