Prime Video's hottest new hockey romance is barely a week old and the internet is already completely obsessed with it. Off Campus premiered on May 13, 2026, and with Season 2 officially confirmed well before the first episode even aired, here is everything you need to know about what comes next for Briar University.

Off Campus Season 2 Release Date — When Does It Come Out?

Off Campus Season 2 is widely projected to land in April 2027, mirroring the exact timeline of Season 1. Scripts for Off Campus Season 2 are done, and filming is set to take place this summer in Vancouver from June to September 2026 — the same schedule Season 1 followed.

In March 2026, Teen Vogue reported that Belmont Cameli and his castmates would be undergoing a two-week hockey bootcamp before Season 2 production starts in June 2026, running through mid-September. Based on that production window, a spring 2027 premiere on Prime Video is the most logical expectation.

Why Prime Video Renewed Off Campus Season 2 So Early

On February 12, 2026, months before Season 1 even debuted, Prime Video officially renewed Off Campus for Season 2. Prime Video were so confident in their adaptation of Elle Kennedy's Off Campus novels that they renewed the show three months ahead of the Season 1 premiere. When the renewal was announced, Amazon's Head of Global Television Peter Friedlander said: "With its passionate fan base, rich source material, we knew this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season."

India Fowler Joins Off Campus Season 2 as Grace Ivers

The biggest new addition to the Off Campus Season 2 cast is India Fowler as Grace Ivers. On April 30, 2026, India Fowler was cast as a series regular for Season 2, joining as Grace — Logan's primary love interest in Elle Kennedy's second Off-Campus novel. Philippa Soo also joined the Season 2 roster in a recurring capacity, adding significant veteran depth to the expanding Briar University ensemble.

Returning Off Campus Season 2 Cast

Prime Video's renewal statement confirmed Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Antonio Cipriano, and Jalen Thomas Brooks as series regulars returning for Season 2.

The first season of Off Campus centres on a fake-dating plot between Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), a musician with big dreams, and ice hockey prodigy Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), featuring Josh Heuston as magnetic musician Justin Kohl. All of the core ensemble are expected back, with the question of how much screen time Josh Heuston's Justin gets already dividing the fandom.

What Will Off Campus Season 2 Be About?

The biggest question dividing the Off Campus fandom right now is whether Season 2 will fully commit to Logan and Grace as the lead couple, as the books do, or whether the Dean and Allie chemistry from Season 1 earns them a more prominent storyline than the source material originally gave them.

Off Campus is based on the Off-Campus book series by Elle Kennedy. The series is created and co-showran by Louisa Levy alongside co-showrunner Gina Fattore. Kennedy herself is also a producer on the series. Season 2 is expected to draw from Elle Kennedy's second Off-Campus novel, with Grace Ivers and Logan as the new central romantic pairing at Briar University.

How Big Is the Off Campus Universe Going to Get?

Elle Kennedy has written roughly a dozen books within the Off-Campus and Briar University universe since 2015, giving Prime Video an enormous well of source material to draw from for seasons well beyond Season 2 — potentially including Kennedy's Campus Diaries spin-off series if the main show continues to perform. Prime Video is clearly building a permanent YA romance pipeline to replicate the massive success of The Summer I Turned Pretty.

All eight episodes of Off Campus Season 1 are streaming now exclusively on Prime Video worldwide.
