has put two of its best-known biscuits into one pack, launching Jaffa Cake Digestives in supermarkets. The limited-edition biscuits are on sale now, priced at £2.25 for a 250g pack.

The new biscuit keeps the familiar Digestives wheatmeal base, but swaps in an orange-flavour caramel topping and a milk chocolate flavour coating. That makes it look and taste closer to a crossover than a straight remake of either classic product.

The launch matters because it brings together two names that already carry a lot of recognition in British shopping aisles. Classic Jaffa Cakes usually come with a dark chocolate top and a more jelly-like filling, while these new biscuits lean into caramel instead, giving them a different bite and a different finish.

Early reaction has been strong online. Food blogger @johns_snackreviews gave the biscuits 8 out of 10, saying they were identical to the Digestives caramel for texture, with a chewy, stretchy Jaffa caramel and not the soft jelly people expect from a Jaffa Cake. He added that they were definitely Jaffa flavour rather than a chocolate orange, and called the collab decent, saying more products like this should be done.

Other tasters were even more enthusiastic. @pingalingo called them incredible and said they taste amazing, while @real_nayn wrote that they look epic. went a step further, saying they could be the number one biscuit.

That enthusiasm sits alongside the obvious question for McVitie’s: whether this is a one-off curiosity or the start of more mash-ups between familiar brands. For now, the biscuits are only known to be available in Sainsbury’s, and the limited-edition label suggests shoppers may not have long to decide whether this is a new favourite or just a brief supermarket detour.
