Nineteen players are scheduled to tee it up in U.S. Open final qualifying across three venues over two weeks, with the biggest collection of them headed to on Monday. The qualifying races in Texas, England and Japan will decide a significant share of the remaining places in the 156-player field for the 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.

Fourteen of those LIV players are entered at Dallas, where the 36-hole sprint will be played on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Blue and Gold courses. , , , , , Caleb Surratt, Cameron Tringale, Graeme McDowell, Harold Varner III, Michael La Sasso, Peter Uihlein, Scott Vincent, Sergio Garcia and Tom McKibbin are scheduled there, making it the deepest of the three sites.

Garcia arrived in Dallas after finishing solo second at Maaden LIV Golf Virginia, his best finish of the 2026 season. For McDowell, the trip carries a different weight. He won the 2010 U.S. Open, and he is now trying to work his way back into the championship he once owned.

David Puig had been entered in Dallas too, but his plans changed after he finished T18 at last week's PGA Championship and climbed to 58th in the world ranking, which earned him an exemption into the U.S. Open. That leaves the Dallas field still heavy with LIV names and raises the stakes for the players who remain on the outside looking in.

Three LIV golfers are also scheduled to compete at in Surrey, England, another course with a long championship resume that has included the Ryder Cup and multiple European Opens. The final qualifying stops at Dallas Athletic Club and Walton Heath are set for Monday, while the Hino Golf Club qualifier in Japan is scheduled for the following Monday, May 25.

The timing matters because these are the last open doors for LIV players not already exempt to reach one of golf's four major championships. The U.S. Open final qualifiers will determine a sizable piece of the field for June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hills, and Dallas looks likely to be one of the most crowded and consequential stops on the path to New York.
