Passage Fitness brought the fourth edition of its Summer Ride to the Marina of Casablanca on Thursday, May 14, turning the waterfront into an open-air fitness stage facing the Atlantic Ocean. More than 500 participants were expected for the event, which centered on a large RPM session with nearly 200 bikes.
The program also featured Body Combat sessions, along with cardio and dance animations, as the brand again used the gathering to put its fitness model in front of a crowd that came as much for the atmosphere as the workout. The Summer Ride has become a recurring fixture in Casablanca, part exercise event and part city outing.
This year’s edition followed a clear evolution. The first two Summer Ride events were held on the Anfa seafront before Passage Fitness moved the gathering last year to the Marina esplanade. On Thursday, the brand returned to the same coastal setting, this time at the Marina of Casablanca, where the format unfolded outdoors and in full view of the sea.
Passage Fitness says the event fits its broader image as a premium fitness brand in Morocco. The group operates clubs at Anfa, Mall and Marina on the Casablanca corniche, and says a single subscription gives members access across those sites. It also says it has a presence in other Moroccan cities, including Tétouan and Oujda.
That positioning is part of what the company says has made the Summer Ride more than a one-day workout. In a statement, Ibnou Lmoujahid Abdelfatah and Hossin Niyat said the event has become a gathering point that reflects Passage Fitness’s identity: premium, innovative and immersive. They said the company was among the first in Morocco to introduce this kind of event concept and that they are proud to see the model inspire the wider sector.
They also said Passage Fitness has helped reshape market standards, adding that several concepts developed by the brand were later adopted by other operators. The company says that reinforces its place in the premium segment, and it says its goal is to keep evolving the fitness experience in Morocco through modern facilities, events that bring people together and coaching standards aligned with international benchmarks.
The formula matters because it shows how the brand is trying to turn a workout into a public event and a public event into brand identity. For Casablanca, it also keeps the Marina at the center of a lifestyle scene that has grown around the corniche, with the Summer Ride now firmly established as one of Passage Fitness’s most visible annual showcases.
