Lindsay Hubbard says she may soon sit down with Amanda Batula, and West Wilson is now part of the conversation. Hubbard said on May 13 that she could “maybe” meet up with Batula soon, after saying days earlier that the two were trying to find a time.
“Amanda texted me,” Hubbard said Monday, May 11, adding, “We’re trying to figure out a time to meet.” The exchange followed her April 28 confirmation on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that Batula had reached out the day after the Summer House reunion was filmed. At the time, Hubbard said she was traveling and answered cautiously when asked whether they would meet: “I don’t know yet. I’m a little busy, so we’ll see,” she said.
By May 13, Hubbard sounded more open to the idea. Speaking on a podcast, she said she thinks she owes it to the history of their 10 years of friendship to hear Batula out. “We’ve gone through so much together, us as a group, specifically me, Kyle, Amanda, and Carl [Radke], for 10 years on TV,” she said. “And we’ve had a front row seat to everyone’s journey.”
That history is now playing out in real time as Summer House moves through Season 10, with Hubbard, Batula, Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon and West Wilson all back in the Hamptons. New friends Mia Calabrese, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Levi Sebree, Bailey Taylor and Ben Waddell are also part of the season, which airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
The timing matters because Hubbard had already used the reunion to air a lot of what she was feeling, but she said there is still more to be said. “There’s a lot to talk about. There’s the Ciara [Miller] of it all. There’s the West [Wilson] of it all. There’s our friendship,” she said. She added that different settings can lead to different conversations, which leaves open the possibility that whatever came up on camera may not be the end of it.
The friction point is obvious. Hubbard is willing to talk, but she is not promising a quick fix, and she is not pretending the issues are limited to one message or one reunion appearance. Batula’s text after the reunion suggests the conversation was already waiting. Whether it becomes a real meeting — and whether it changes anything between them — is now the next step.
