Arsenal has officially launched its new home shirt for the 2026/27 season, a red-and-white Arsenal kit that arrives as the club’s eighth shirt from adidas since the manufacturer returned as supplier in 2019. The new design is on sale now through the club and adidas, with a replica version priced at £85 and the authentic player-issue shirt at £120.
The shirt keeps the familiar Arsenal look: a red body with white sleeves, two-tone maroon and red adidas stripes, and a round neck. The collar and sleeve cuffs carry a jagged red pattern on maroon, while the body itself is clean and plain, with no underlying texture. The adidas logo, Emirates sponsor and Arsenal crest are all rendered in monotone white, and the new sleeve sponsor, Deel, appears in red on the arm.
Arsenal says the design is inspired by the iconic architecture and artwork of Emirates Stadium, and the shirt is built with Climacool technology to wick and disperse sweat. It is cut in a slim fit, which keeps the look close to the body and gives the launch a more tailored feel than the looser shirts many fans will remember from earlier eras.
The release lands as the club and adidas continue a partnership that resumed in 2019 and has now produced eight Arsenal shirts. That long run gives each new launch extra scrutiny, and this one is likely to divide opinion because it leans heavily on familiar elements rather than pushing far from the club’s traditional colour palette.
There is also a clear gap between the polished branding around the launch and the shirt itself. The official description ties the design to Emirates Stadium, but the finished product is intentionally sparse, with the plain red body leaving little room for visual detail. For supporters judging it on first glance, that simplicity may be the point — or it may make the shirt feel like one of adidas’ weaker Arsenal efforts.
Members can get a 10% discount through Arsenal Direct, giving regular buyers a small break on a release that sits at the premium end of the market. For now, the new Arsenal kit is available immediately, and the real test will come once fans decide whether this is a clean modern update or a missed chance to do something bolder.
