UFC 335 has added a strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Shanelle Dyer for Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Two people with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking, although the promotion has not yet made it official.
The matchup gives Dyer another UFC assignment after winning her first two bouts in the promotion by TKO. She is 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the UFC, with both wins coming after she earned her contract in a loss on Dana White's Contender Series in 2025. She beat Ravena Oliveira in her debut and followed that with a finish of Elise Reed in her second fight.
Hill brings the deeper UFC résumé into the matchup. The 41-year-old is 19-16 in MMA and 14-16 in the UFC, and she rebounded in May by beating former ONE champion Jingnan Xiong by unanimous decision after back-to-back losses. She is tied with Jessica Andrade for the most UFC appearances by a woman at 30, which makes the booking a notable addition to the card.
The fight also adds another women’s strawweight bout to a lineup that is still taking shape. The card already includes Charles Oliveira vs. Diego Lopes, which is listed for the BMF title, and Ronald Humphrey against Nikolay Veretennikov. Even so, the lack of an official announcement leaves the Hill-Dyer booking in a brief holding pattern, with the matchup known and the card updated before the promotion has said it out loud.
That is the part worth watching next. Once the promotion confirms the fight, the card will have another clear marker for Dec. 12, and Dyer will get a chance to build on the best start a newcomer can ask for in the UFC.
