Saint Louis swept Rockhurst in a pair of home swimming dual meets on October 20, 2026, and the Billikens did it with room to spare. The women won 164-54 and the men won 150-73 at Simon Recreation Center.

Sarah Ramos drove much of the women’s side. She won the 100 free in 53.22 seconds, took the 200 free in 1:55.47 and helped Saint Louis close with a 400 free relay victory in 3:31.76 alongside Izabel Schmidt, Hanna Whitney and Anya Brueggeman. That made her one of the afternoon’s defining performers and gave Saint Louis another clean result in a meet it controlled from the start.

The sweep also came with weight beyond the final margins. Saint Louis won 10 events in both the women’s and men’s competition, a volume that left Rockhurst chasing throughout the day even as it still managed four individual event wins. Izabel Schmidt added the 50 free in 24.31, Hailey Eriksen won 1-meter diving with 211.95 points, Lexi Stramel captured the 400 IM in 4:35.64, Emmy Barrett won the 200 back in 2:06.18, Sasha Jancekova took the 500 free in 5:09.08 and Tierney Kohl won the 200 breast in 2:26.49.

On the men’s side, Michael Stumpf won 1-meter diving with 317.78 points and qualified for NCAA Zone competition, a mark that ranks third in Billiken history. Kyle Algrim won the 400 IM in 4:09.82 and the 1000 free in 9:54.65, while Nolan Kohl won the 200 back in 1:48.64, a time that ranks eighth on SLU’s all-time top-10 list. Brandon Suliga won the 50 free in 20.86, and Nolan Kohl and Suliga joined Saint Louis victories in the 200 medley relay in 1:31.94 and the 400 free relay in 3:06.83. Hayden Barnes won the 200 free in 1:44.45, Patrick Rhatigan took the 200 fly in 1:55.29 and Lenny DeMartino won the 500 free in 4:50.20.

Rockhurst’s four individual wins kept the meet from becoming a shutout of every race, but the scoreboard still told the larger story: Saint Louis was far deeper across the lineup and finished the day with two emphatic home wins. What comes next for the Billikens is not stated, but the combination of relay strength, diving points and multiple double winners suggests the team left this meet with more than a sweep — it left with momentum.
