Tyjae Spears is active for the Titans’ Week 6 matchup with the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, after being listed as questionable because of a minor knee injury. That clears him to play, even if it does not yet answer exactly how much work he will get.
Fantasy managers had been waiting on that update because Spears’ status shaped what the Titans could do in the backfield. The expectation is still that Spears and Tony Pollard will both be involved, which means the game matters as much for workload as it does for availability.
Spears’ active status is the cleanest sign that the knee issue did not keep him out, but it also leaves the role split unresolved. An active designation gets him onto the field; it does not lock in snaps, touches or how the Titans will divide carries in Week 6.
That is why the next few hours matter more than the label on the injury report. Spears is in, Pollard is expected to share the work, and the only question left is how the Titans choose to handle the backfield once the game begins.
