New DraftKings users who place a $5 first bet can get a special NBA League Pass promo code that unlocks a complimentary three-month subscription and eight $25 bonus bets, a package that lands as the NBA season draws near. The code is sent to the email address tied to the DraftKings Sportsbook account within 72 hours, but it must be entered when purchasing NBA League Pass to activate the subscription.
The draw is simple: spend $5 first, then get access to a service that lets fans watch live and on-demand basketball, including out-of-market games. That matters for anyone who does not want to miss a team like the Lakers while living in Philadelphia, because the league pass is built for that kind of distance viewing. The offer also comes with $200 in bonus bets, adding another layer to a promotion that is trying to turn a small wager into a bigger payoff.
There is one catch built into the pitch. The deal is framed like a free trial, yet it does not arrive until after a first bet is placed, and the promo code expires on 12/19. That means the clock is already running for anyone who wants the subscription before the code goes stale. The open question is not how the reward works, but whether a new user is ready to make the qualifying bet now and then wait for the email that carries the code.
