Le Stade Brestois has unveiled a minute-by-minute tribute program for Éric Roy before Brest - PSG, turning the buildup at Francis-Le Blé into a staged ceremony that will run for an hour and a half. The tribute starts when the gates open at 19 h 15 and ends only as the match begins at 20 h 45.
That timing is why the fixture is drawing attention now: the club has fixed every step of the night around the homage, from the first fans coming through the doors to the final whistle of the tribute sequence. Four hundred caps will go on sale in the stadium chalets, and the Brest supporters will move through the evening wearing the King Éric shirt designed by the Ultras Brestois.
At 19 h 45, Denis Le Saint, Pascal Robert and Loetitia Roy will lay a wreath in front of the fresco on route de Quimper. At 20 h 20, the Ultras will hand over a cheque to the association cartable connecté. Ten minutes later, PSG will present a shirt in Roy’s honor and a video tribute to King will follow, before the teams emerge to a large tifo in tribune Quimper and tribune Arkéa.
The ceremony is detailed enough to leave little to chance, but the match still keeps its own hard edge. Brest and PSG are set to kick off at 20 h 45, with both sides wearing black armbands, even after Victoria-Rose speaks at 20 h 42 and the applause dies away. The club has also set the entrance music to Magnificent by U2, a choice that underlines how carefully the evening has been designed.

The portrait already sits on the wall of legends behind tribune Arkéa, and the shirt will carry a crown on the front and KING on the back, which makes the message unmistakable: Brest is not just honoring a former figure, it is elevating him into the club’s own vocabulary.
