Wingstop has launched its first-ever Wing Pass for football season, packaging 18 Watch Party Bundles for $27.99 and limiting the offer to just 100 Club Wingstop members. The pass goes on sale Sept. 10 at 12 p.m. CT on wingstop.com, and each purchase unlocks a new Watch Party Bundle in the Wingstop app every Sunday morning, timed for Sunday kickoffs.
The offer is built around one bundle: 20 Classic Wings tossed in up to four flavors, plus a large fry and a large ranch. Bought separately 18 times, that would mean 18 full bundles instead of one pass price, which is the whole appeal of the promotion. Wingstop is pitching it as a football-season play, but it is also using the launch to push its new Club Wingstop loyalty program, which started in late May.
Michael Skipworth said in July, during Wingstop’s second-quarter earnings call, that Club Wingstop was designed to create a more personalized relationship with guests and engage with them in more meaningful ways. He also said the program would give the brand a better way to deliver the right offer at the right time and strengthen the emotional connection with guests, language that fits the company’s broader push toward a more experience-led model.
That is where the Wing Pass stands out. Wingstop is talking about exclusives and experiences, yet only 100 passes will be available. The company is giving Club Wingstop members early access not just to the Wing Pass, but also to the Lemon Pepper Trio starting Sept. 10, before the new flavors go nationwide on Sept. 15. The trio includes Original Lemon Pepper, Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch and Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze, while the Sprite Touchdown Twist, made with Sprite Cherry and Mello Yello Limeade, is available only at locations with Coca-Cola Freestyle dispensers.
The scarcity is the point and the test. Wingstop has paired a limited loyalty offer with a broader football-season menu push, but the small allotment means only a sliver of Club Wingstop members can buy in. If the Wing Pass is meant to show how the program can build repeat visits and new occasions, the first question is not whether it fits the brand’s direction. It is whether Wingstop can turn a promotion for 100 people into something much larger.
