Nike and the NFL are bringing back the Nike x NFL Rivalries program for the 2026 season, and this time the rollout covers eight teams instead of the full league. The first wave reaches the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South, along with the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions in the NFC North.
The uniforms are not arriving all at once. They will be unveiled during upcoming home games against division rivals, turning the program into a season-long reveal rather than a single drop. That is why fans are searching now: the design launch is tied directly to the 2026 schedule, with each club getting a specific moment on the field instead of a blanket leaguewide release.
Taryn Hutt framed the return as the next step for a program that has already found an audience. She said revealing eight new Rivalries uniforms marks the next chapter in a collection beloved by fans across the NFL and Nike, and added that spotlighting the AFC South and NFC North clubs and their communities continues to capture the spirit and tradition of divisional rivalries. That language matters because it shows how Nike and the NFL are treating the project: not as a one-off promotion, but as a recurring product line built around matchups people already care about.
The numbers also explain the push. Fanatics’ merchandise release became its best-selling release to date, which helps explain why the program is returning. But the comeback still leaves a gap in plain view. Eight teams are in, while the rest of the league is out, which keeps the program exclusive even as it is sold as a celebration of rivalries across the sport. That contrast is part of what will keep the release in the conversation through the season.
The schedule now gives the rollout a clear rhythm. The Indianapolis Colts will debut their Rivalries uniforms in Week 3 against the Houston Texans on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET. The Green Bay Packers follow in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 11 at 4:25 p.m. ET, and the Detroit Lions will reveal theirs in Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET. The remaining debuts have not been laid out here, but the pattern is already set: each reveal will land where the rivalry is strongest, and each one will be measured against the last.
