Jason McCourty is joining ’s Monday Night Countdown, moving into the desk alongside Scott Van Pelt, Jason Kelce and Marcus Spears. McCourty brings a long playing résumé to the seat. He spent 13 seasons in the NFL, including eight with the Tennessee Titans, then one with the Cleveland Browns and three with the New England Patriots. He ended his playing career after the 2021 season, which included seven games with the Miami Dolphins, and he won Super Bowl 53 with the Patriots alongside his twin brother, Devin McCourty.
His move to Monday Night Countdown also follows a quick rise in media. McCourty co-hosted Good Morning Football on NFL Network beginning in 2022, later became a contributor at in 2024, and has worked across NFL games for CBS and on Thursday Night Football for Westwood One. That mix makes him a natural fit for a pregame desk built around game analysis and quick reaction.
The unanswered detail is when he will first appear on Monday Night Countdown. What is already clear is that has chosen a familiar voice to replace Clark, and that McCourty’s presence keeps a McCourty brother in prime-time football coverage on consecutive nights, with Devin McCourty on Football Night in America for NBC.
