The TBT Championship is set for Sunday, and La Familia will meet Davis Steel at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky, with the winner taking home TBT's entire $2 million prize. The game will air live on FOX and stream on FOX One, FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports App.

That is the payoff for two very different runs through the tournament. La Familia won the Alumni Bracket and earned the right to host after opening with a two games to one win over The Ville, then beating Boeheim’s Army 70-66 in the Alumni Semifinals and JHX Hoops 78-65 in the bracket final. Davis Steel took a separate path, finishing first in Group A during round-robin play, earning a bye into the Las Vegas Semifinals, then beating Red Rose War Ready 83-67 and edging The Mecca 71-69 in Thursday's Las Vegas Championship.

TBT's format makes the final feel larger than a normal summer game. The field for 2026 was trimmed to 14 teams, with eight alumni squads starting in best-of-three series and six non-alumni squads fighting through groups and knockout rounds in Las Vegas before the two bracket winners met for the title. The setup also means the game will be played under the Elam Ending, which turns off the clock in the fourth quarter and sets a target score by adding eight points to the leading team's score. The first team to reach that target wins, no matter who controlled the game before that moment.

That is what gives La Familia a useful but incomplete edge. Hosting the championship at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington matters, because the crowd and familiar setting belong to La Familia, but the title itself still comes down to one game against Davis Steel and one finish under Elam rules. Last year, AfterShocks beat Eberlein Drive in the championship to win the title, and Sunday will produce the next winner of a tournament that leaves no room for consolation.
