La Familia will meet Davis Steel in the Basketball Tournament championship on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, with the winner taking home the $2 million prize. The game is set for Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky, and will air on FOX while streaming on DIRECTV and fuboTV.

The matchup gives La Familia a shot to turn its latest surge into the title after a 78-65 win over the Kansas alumni team JHX Hoops on Wednesday, July 29. Archie Goodwin led the way with 28 points and finished the game with a step-back jumper during the Elam Ending, a format that shuts off the clock in the fourth quarter and asks the trailing team to chase a target score eight points above the leader's total.

That win also secured the TBT Alumni Championship for La Familia and pushed the Kentucky alumni team into Sunday’s final. Goodwin has been the centerpiece of the run, averaging 26.7 points per game in the tournament, while Willie Cauley-Stein and Darryl Morsell each added 10 points against JHX Hoops and Chris Coffey scored nine.

The path to the title game was clear on one side. Kentucky took control after an early 8-4 deficit, used a 14-2 run in the first half and then outscored JHX Hoops 21-7 in the third quarter while holding the Kansas alumni team to 30 percent shooting. Davis Steel, by contrast, arrives at the final with the matchup in place but without the same detail attached to its route, leaving only the championship stage itself to define it.

Sunday now decides everything. La Familia can finish a tournament run built on one of its sharpest offensive performances, or Davis Steel can take the $2 million prize with one win at Historic Memorial Coliseum.
