Bijan Robinson has been put in the conversation for the NFL's best player entering the 2026 season. NFL.com's Grant Gordon listed the Atlanta Falcons running back as one of 12 contenders for that spot, a recognition that places him in elite company and puts his name in play as the NFL Top 100 rollout continues.
The timing matters because Robinson is coming off a season that looked like a statement from start to finish. He led the NFL with 2,298 scrimmage yards, including 1,478 rushing yards and 820 receiving yards, and added seven rushing touchdowns and four receiving touchdowns. Gordon pointed to those numbers, along with Robinson's first-team All-Pro status, his place as an Offensive Player of the Year finalist and his Pro Bowl selection in 2025, as the case for why the 24-year-old belongs near the top of the league's player-voted ranking.
That is a long climb from No. 62 in the 2025 NFL Top 100, and it also comes in a season when the Falcons finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs for the eighth consecutive year. Robinson's standing is a reminder that the ranking tracks individual performance, not team record, and that his production has carried enough weight to keep him in national award conversations even when Atlanta has not made the postseason.
Robinson will join Drake London in the NFL Top 100 players list, with London landing at No. 66, and another Falcon in Chris Lindstrom is also expected to appear. However the rest of the list shakes out, Robinson has already moved from breakout star to one of the names being measured against the league's very best, and the unanswered question is whether the voting lands him at No. 1 for 2026 or simply pushes him higher than he was a year ago.
