The Portland Timbers host Real Salt Lake on Saturday night at Providence Park, and the match will be Felipe Mora’s final appearance in Green & Gold. Mora leaves Portland ranked third on the Timbers’ all-time regular-season scoring list with 46 goals, and he has done it in 144 regular-season appearances. That is why Saturday is being searched now: it is not just another home date, but the last chance for supporters to see one of the club’s most productive attackers in a Timbers shirt. The match kicks off at 7:30pm PT on July 25, with Pride Night activities beginning earlier at 5:45pm PT.
The farewell will also sit inside a full matchday promotion. Real Salt Lake come to the Rose City after a midweek loss to LAFC, and Jack Cassidy said Friday that the group understands both the impact Mora has had and the need to be ready for the match. The evening therefore has two pressures running at once: honoring a departing scorer and handling a conference opponent that can still spoil the mood.
What makes it matter is the timing. A farewell for a player with 46 goals does not come around often, and Portland has chosen to fold it into a Western Conference game that still counts. By the final whistle, supporters will know whether the night became only a tribute or also one more meaningful result before the Timbers move deeper into the 2026 season without Mora.
