The first visible result will come at the home match against the BVB, where RWO plans a joint surprise action in Oberhausen.
That makes the timing as important as the agreement itself. Fans are searching now because the partnership lands just before the match that will put Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in front of a wider audience, and because Karls Erlebnisdorf Oberhausen is set to open on 22 July at Westfield Centro Oberhausen.
Karls Erlebnisdorf is based in Rövershagen near Rostock and runs several agriculturally themed amusement parks across Germany, welcoming several million visitors a year. In Oberhausen, the new site covers about 46,000 square meters, which gives the company a local footprint large enough to matter beyond ordinary shirt or board visibility.
