The Orlando Pride are back at Inter&Co Stadium on Friday night, hosting the Kansas City Current after more than a month away from home. The match is set for 8 p.m. ET, with gates opening at 7 p.m. ET and kickoff listed at 8:10 p.m. in the matchday schedule.
For fans, the night starts well before the first whistle. The Ticket Office, powered by Ticketmaster, opened at Gate A at 6:00 PM, while Mane Street Plaza, presented by Publix, opened at the same time with a live DJ, kid-friendly activities, food trucks, partner activations, the Heineken Star Bar, the new Jameson cart and the new Publix Video Game Station. The Starting XI Reveal, presented by Orlando Health, was scheduled for 7:05 PM, followed by the procession at 8:03 PM and then kickoff seven minutes later.
Kerry Abello's matchday playlist is part of the build-up, another sign that the evening is meant to feel like a homecoming rather than a routine league date. The Pride spent the last month away from Inter&Co Stadium, though their results on the road are not spelled out here, and Friday's return puts the focus back on what happens around the match as much as on the match itself.
That means the gate plan matters. Fans with West Club or Suite tickets must use Gate D. Supporter Section ticket holders must use Supporters Gate. All other fans must enter through Gates A, B or C. Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted, and fans are strongly encouraged to add tickets to Apple or Google wallet before arriving. Small bags no larger than 4.5 inches high and 6.5 inches wide are allowed, while larger bags must fit in a clear tote no bigger than 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches.
There is also more going on inside the stadium than a standard pregame checklist. Fireworks, pyrotechnics and lighting effects will be used before the match, during the match and at halftime. Sensory bags are available in partnership with Kulture City from the Guest Services Booth on the SE Main Concourse across from Section 1. Mobile lockers are available across from Gate B on Pine St., and parking information, including pricing around Inter&Co Stadium and additional options in Downtown Orlando, is available on the stadium website.
The matchday poster, designed by Club Graphic Designer Matt Bayley, and the Merch of the Match, which is 20% off all headwear, are available at retail locations inside Inter&Co Stadium and on ShopOrlandoPride. The Patch of the Match is the GOAT patch, and fans can find it at the same locations. After more than a month away, the Pride do not just get a match back on the schedule Friday night. They get the whole building around it, from the first gate opening to the last burst of light.
