Lucas Glover took the lead into the weekend at 14 under after rounds of 63 and 65, giving him a two-shot cushion over Lee Hodges. Zac Blair was the only other player within three shots at 11 under, while Max Homa sat 10th at 9 under and Chris Gotterup and Zach Johnson were tied for 11th at 8 under.
That leaderboard matters because the weather already forced the second round to restart at 7:35 p.m. CT after play was suspended at 6:36 p.m. CT. The tournament had to finish the cut line before the weekend could settle into a normal rhythm, and that is why Jordan Spieth’s 3-under total through 36 holes was enough to keep him on the number.
For Jackson Koivun, the shift did not change the result.
