When Is Prime Day Over? Beauty deals run through a four-day event

Prime Day is here, and the shopping event is only four days long, making the timing of beauty discounts the first thing buyers want to know. The question behind When is Prime Day over matters because the sale window is short, and the markdowns on skin care and body care are packed into that limited stretch.

Beauty brands are using the event to push a wide mix of products, from sunscreen and cleansers to body oils and face creams. One of the clearest examples is Korres, which has a Greek yoghurt mineral sunscreen with SPF 50 designed to layer under makeup, while Vivien Moon said she especially likes that she can layer it over or under her other products and that it does not feel like she is wearing too much.

The appeal is simple: shoppers can buy items that usually sit at different points in a routine without giving up comfort or coverage. Manyo has a cleansing milk made with vegan soybean extract, Dove has a serum-based shower oil infused with 50% glycerin, and Cocokind is offering a cleanser and body wash meant to leave skin feeling soft. Medicube is also part of the mix with a sculpting Gua Sha neck cream aimed at fighting wrinkles and smoothing fine lines.

There is also a small wrinkle in the lineup. Cyklar is not new, but this is its first Prime Day sale, and that makes its Vitamin C body oil stand out as part of a debut discount rather than a routine promotion. Olay is selling a new face cream made with peptides and extracts to help boost collagen and lift skin, while Monastery has a rose cleansing oil made with 100 Rose Bourbonia petals that adds antioxidants to skin as it washes away makeup.

For shoppers, the practical answer is that the deals live inside a four-day window, so the longer the wait, the less time is left to compare products and decide. Prime Day is being used as a recurring beauty shopping event, but the urgency this time comes from the fact that the discounts do not last beyond that four-day span.
