Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 tickets went on pre-sale June 16 for Inspire Key holders, starting the first round of access for one of Disneyland Resort’s most competitive Halloween events. The sale opens more broadly June 17 for all Magic Key holders, before the general public gets a chance June 18.
That staggered rollout matters because this is the moment when would-be buyers learn whether they can get in early or have to wait their turn. The Inspire Key window opened with a waiting room at about 8:45 a.m. Pacific Time, and ticket sales for that group began no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. If tickets were still available by the end of the day, the waiting room was set to close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
The event has 33 separate nights this year, the longest run it has ever offered, but that does not flatten demand. Opening night on August 18 is always in high demand, and dates close to Halloween sell out almost immediately. The schedule runs through Halloween night on October 31 and is limited to select nights, typically Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, which keeps the calendar tight even with more total dates on offer.
That is why the sale is structured in layers. Inspire Key holders get the first crack, all Magic Key holders follow, and everyone else comes after that. The setup gives loyal pass holders an early advantage, but it also underlines how hard these tickets are to secure once the most sought-after nights are in play.
Oogie Boogie Bash turns Disney California Adventure into a Halloween event built around trick-or-treat trails, rare villain appearances, costumed hosts, ride overlays exclusive to the event and the Villains Grove walkthrough experience. Some Disney Halloween fans rank it above Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, but the practical test is always the same: whether the date you want is still there when your window opens. For the dates people want most, the answer is often no.
The next checkpoint is June 17, when the sale opens to all Magic Key holders, followed by June 18 for the general public. After that, the remaining question is not whether Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 will sell well. It is which of the most desirable nights will disappear first.
